SAMUEL RZESZEWSKI WAS NOT BORN IN KLODAWA, BUT WAS PART OF THE KLODAWA RZESZEWSKI FAMILY. HE WAS A WORLD RENOWNED CHESS PLAYER (PLAYED BOBBY FISHER, ET. The Rzeszewski family was one of the larget Klodawa families. There are vere few families that I've researched over the years, that do not have at least one Rzeszewski family member in their lineage, including my own(my great uncle and aunt were married to Rzeszewski brother and sister). Moniek Rzeszewski [MAX ROSE] and Max Rotbart (son of Dvorah Gnenedel Rzeszewski and Hercz Rotbart) were very close first cousin who survived the war, lost touch, and reconnected after they both ended up immigrating to the US. Both were interviewed by the USC Shoah Foundation. Dean Rotbart, son of Max, helped create the original blog; www.klodawa.org back in 2004. Daniela H, Max Rose granddaughter wrote in for the first time in February 2021, sharing some of her stories of her grandfather/Rzeszewski family. She hopes to get down to Florida, to his home, and gather some family photos to share when travel becomes safe again.
The Rzeszewski's were Dean Rotbart's grandmother's family. Dean is the author and co-host of www.klodawa.org.

FROM DEAN ROTBART 4/05: This is a photo of the Rzeszewski family from Klodawa from roughly 1915-1920 [SEE BELOW]. I am willing to bet that one of the sisters is Gnendel. I believe my grandmother is in the back row third person from the right. Her name was Devorah Gnendel. DEAN

Also, Judy Muratore's Great-Aunt and Uncle, Rachel Przedecki and Avrum-Ruven Przedecki, were married to a Rzeszewski brother and sister. Rachel Przedecki was married to Avrum Rzeszewski . Avrum-Ruven Przedecki was married to Gnendel Rzeszewski [SEE MARRIAGE RECORDS BOTTOM OF PAGE] They all perished in the Holocaust. [see photo below]:
