From Bryan Kesselman: Many thanks for your email. Yes, I had read all the Nichinsky-Cohen correspondence on the Klodawatribute website as well as looking at info on the klodawa.org site.In case you are still researching Klodawa families, I give the following information to you. There are a number of interesting points of coincidence with items on those sites some of which I mentioned before. Here is another. On talking to my mother yesterday she told me that her father (Nancy/Nacha/Necha Cohen's husband)Michael Pshedetsky son of Jacob Pshedetsky (Przedecki) temporarily changed his name to Pizer sometime around the start ofWW1 before reverting to Pshedetsky. Jacob Przedecki and family all moved to London around or sometime before 1900.Nancy Cohen (b.1887/8) travelled to London from Poland by herself aged 16 in about 1903/4 and met her brother Yida - which could meanJudah (or might, strangely enough, be Abraham) there. A sister (name unknown) went to live in Brooklyn at an addressin Willoughby Avenue.A Nichinsky connection is hard to establish - partly because of my grandmother Nancy Cohen's documents which state that her fatherwas Louis Cohen and her mother Pearl Mishkoski (Miszkoski?). Also her apparent insistence to my mother that she was a 'real' Cohen. This last implies that her family had always been called Cohen even in Klodawa. Of course it is possible from a religious point of viewthat the Nichinskys could have selected the name Cohen because their family were in fact Cohens in all but surname. To our knowledge neither of Nancy Cohen's parents left Poland.Investigation continues.
