According to Jurek Francuz, the Jachimniaks, at some time, shared the same house as Jurek's family. According to him, they were one of the three families who were seen as the least religious in town, and were sometimes looked down upon for this, or conidered "outcasts". The Jachimniaks made butter and cheeses.
