BIERZWINSKI
Per post to www.klodawa.org from Menesha Cieplinski 9/2/08: Hi. My parents (now gone) were from Klodawa I don't see their last names though. You also have to remember that (like in my maternal grandmother's case) the men just studied Torah and the women earned a living. My maternal grandmother Toibe Rifka Bierzwinsky ran a general store. Her husband was named Avrhamam Bierzwinsky. On my father's family they ran a coal selling and tailor shop. My grandparents on his side (who perished in the Holocaust) were Eliyahu Avraham Cieplinski or Czieplinski and his wife Hanna. My older brother went looking for family traces last year on a trip to Klodawa but said he found no traces and noone wanted to talk to him when he visited. Menashe Cieplinski.

Shalom Jude!
I don't know how much Menachem Landau told you, so let me give you the information I have regarding my uncle Chaim Bierzwinski:
Chaim was born in Klodowa in 1902 and passed away in Haifa, Israel, in 1993
In 1935 Chaim married my Mother's sister, Golda, nee Kotowski.
Both my Mother Hanna and her sister Kaile (Karla) were there, at Chaim and Golda's wedding.
Shortly afterwards the young couple emigrated to Palestine (Israel) and lived in Haifa the rest of their lifes. They owned a grocery.
They had two children:
1938-Ariela - passed away in 1998
1942-Roni-passed away.
Ariela married Zvi Karli (1927-1996)
They had two children:
Hava (1959-2002)
Meir, born 1964.
1979-Hava married Jonathan Rabinowicz.
1981-Their daughter Shiri was born
Shiri married Saar Ziv. They have two daughters.
They live in the outskirts of Haifa
Meir married Gali ben Yona
They have two children
1989-Sapir
1993-Guy
They moved years ago to the USA
When I reached Israel in 1963, we were received by the Bierzwinski family at the Haifa harbor and remained a couple of weeks in Golda and Haim's home.
As I spent my childhood in Montevideo, Uruguay, before moving to Israel, I am fluent in Spanish.
Please, let the Bierzwinski family in Mexico know that they are more than welcome to get in touch with me.
You have my email address, and my phone/Whatsapp number appears hereunder.
Yours,
Menno (Menachem) Krzywanowski-Tourist guide in Israel.
